Basic Model check

The basic BIM is performed when the customer provides the BIM model in native files and IFC format, which is then uploaded to Gravicon's server or by Gravicon accessing the customer's data store (e.g. project web, ftp server, Dropbox or similar). Gravicon performs a control in Solibri Model Checker based on our own configuration. After the check, the customer receives a report in pdf format, indicating the results from the control. Gravicon can also offer assistance with quality assessment.

Depending on the customer's BIM programs the BIM model will be assembled in an IFC file or for example be divided by floor.

Interdisciplinary geometric control of multiple models

The multidisciplinary control aims to identify locations in BIM models where there are geometric collisions between different disciplinary models. The focus is not on possible internal collisions in the architect's or engineer's discipline-specific BIM models, but on the problems between the models that are typically associated with collisions between the building service and the architectural model of the building. Similarly it is possible to identify discrepancies between the architectural and structural models.

Depending on the customer's BIM programs, the BIM model will be assembled in an IFC file or e.g. be divided by floor.
It may be necessary to charge a supplement on the standard price if the locations of the domain specific models not are coordinated.

Model Checking in relation to the client's space program

Model checking is based on the premise that the client's space program may be presented schematically, indicating the area requirements for spaces, their naming and relative positions. A BIM model, typically the architect, is verified with the space program. The customer will receive a subsequent report, detailing where the BIM model differs from the space program.
